Dr. Angela Garcia Calvo
Dr. Angela Garcia Calvo is Assistant Professor in International Business and Strategy at the University of Reading (UK). She received her PhD at the London School of Economics, and holds Masters Degrees from Harvard, Northwestern University and the Pontifical University Comillas. She obtained her BA at Deusto University. Garcia Calvo’s research explores the ways that business and policy choices shape the transformation of capitalisms. Specific interests include industrial upgrading, industrial policy, innovation, internet governance and the impact of structural transformation on work.
In addition to her academic work, Garcia Calvo has consulted for the OECD and the governments of Germany, Spain and the UK.
