Minjin Chae is a doctoral student in Sociology at Harvard University. She is broadly interested in how employees and employers make decisions about work arrangements and how these dynamics intersect with gender relations and family structures. Her research focuses on flexible work policies such as remote work and schedule control, examining their effects on workers' labor market outcomes and domestic life, as well as potential policy designs to address resulting inequalities. Before joining Harvard, she received training in History and Sociology at Seoul National University in South Korea.
