Morien El Haj

Morien El Haj will be a guest researcher in the research professorship ‘Work, Family and Social Inequality’ from January 12 to March 15, 2026. She is a doctoral researcher and teaching assistant in the Department of Economics at Ghent University in Belgium. Her PhD research focuses on labour market discrimination of parents. During her stay, she will work on a vignette experiment examining parents’ promotion opportunities, together with Prof. Lena Hipp and her team. In addition, she has a strong research interest in the 3 M’s (menstruation, maternity, and menopause).
