Research area: General / Interdisciplinary, Sociology, Economics Language: German GENESIS-Online is a statistical information system jointly developed by the Germany's federal and state statistical bureaus. Permitting metadata-aided research, it gives access to the wide range of official statistics relating to areas, population, gainful employment, and elections; education, social transfers and social services, health, and law; housing and the environment; economic sectors; foreign trade, business, and crafts; prices, wages and salaries, income, and consumption; public finances; and resource accounting. All individually tailored tables in the database are available free of charge. Extensive tables with several million values can be stored and updated in a personal user account after registration. A free API (web service interface) is available for further use of the machine-readable data. -

OECD iLibrary
Research area: General / Interdisciplinary, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Educational Research, Law Language: English Period: 1961 - The OECD iLibrary includes all OECD books published since 1998. That means, a total of 8.330 books in PDF format with an additional 300 books annually. Over 20 OECD magazine series in PDF format, dated from 1961. All new releases will be included in the collection. Direct access to 23 OECD statistical databases. The IEA databases are not included. -

Research area: General / Interdisciplinary, Sociology, Economics Die "Regionaldatenbank Deutschland" ist eine Datenbank, die tief gegliederte Ergebnisse der amtlichen Statistik von Stadt- und Landkreisen, Ländern und Bund enthält. Sie wird kontinuierlich ausgebaut. Der Tabellenabruf erfolgt unentgeltlich und kann variabel auf den individuellen Bedarf angepasst werden. Die Abspeicherung der Ergebnisse ist in verschiedenen Formaten möglich. Zusätzliche Nutzungsmöglichkeiten stehen registrierten Nutzern kostenfrei zur Verfügung: Abruf großer Tabellen (im Batchbetrieb); Speicherung häufig genutzter und individuell angepasster Tabellenabrufstrukturen in einem eigenen Verzeichnis ('Meine Tabellen') -

World Bank e-atlas of global development

Research area: Geography, Sociology, Economics, Political Science, General / Interdisciplinary Language: English The database comprises the 175 development indicators from the printed Atlas of Global Development. One can select the facts either by using the search function or by browsing topics. The data are diagrammed and presented as comparisons between countries. Users must register to export the data, but there is no charge.
