Drawing on the English Short Title Catalogue, the Eighteenth Century Collections Online offers access to more than 180,000 titles of books, pamphlets, essays, and broadsheets that appeared primarily in Great Britain. The e-book collection contains works on history, geography, the fine arts, the social sciences, language and literature, theology and philosophy, law, medicine, natural science, and technology. Nearly 40 million pages are available for full-text searches with simple and advanced search criteria.

JSTOR offers access to the full-text versions of predeminantly anglo-american journals starting with the first volume up to the so-called 'moving wall'. JSTOR is not a current issues database. Because of JSTOR's archival mission, there is a gap, typically from 1 to 5 years, between the most recently published journal issue and the content available in JSTOR. The WZB license agreement with JSTOR includes access to the following collections: The Arts & Sciences I Collection (119 titles), the Arts & Sciences II Collection (125 titles) and the Business Collection (47 titles).

Articles from several thousand magazines, periodicals and newspapers are contained in the archive as well as daily updated in full text, e.g., Berliner Zeitung, Financial Times (London), The Independent, Le Monde, New York Times, NZZ Folio, El Pais, Der Spiegel, Der Tagesspiegel, Die TAZ, The Times. The World, The Time. Not included: Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Frankfurter Rundschau, Handelsblatt, Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Wall Street Journal. Nexis Uni also contains: company and financial information, information on business, politics and current affairs, economic analyses, country reports and legal information (US, UK and EU law and law of other countries such as Australia, France, Northern Ireland, Mexico, Argentina). Select multiple sources: You use the "advanced search", there you search in the field source for the newspaper or source you want to have - always write in one and select it and then write in the next and select it. Note: you can only download 100 documents at a time. This is not done by selecting "print e.g. 1-130", but by selecting the documents of one page, then selecting the documents of the next page, etc. until you reach 100 documents. Then you can download the documents. Then you can repeat the process for the other documents. Increasing the result display: You can register to make individual settings such as increasing the number of hits per page. Click on SignIn / Register at the top right of the page and create a user ID. If you are logged in to Nexis Uni with your user ID, you will see the name you have assigned in the upper right corner of the screen and, using the pop-up function, also "Settings". Here you can increase the number of hits up to 50 per page. You can set up alerts when you are logged in: perform a search, then click on the bell next to "Results for...", enter your email address at the "Deliver" tab (scroll down), create an alert.

The OECD iLibrary includes all OECD books published since 1998. That means, a total of 8.330 books in PDF format with an additional 300 books annually. Over 20 OECD magazine series in PDF format, dated from 1961. All new releases will be included in the collection. Direct access to 23 OECD statistical databases. The IEA databases are not included.

Oxford Journals belongs to Oxford University Press, the world's largest university publisher. The site encompasses 324 titles.

The HSS collection includes 196 journals about law, humanities and social sciences.

Periodicals Archive Online offers the back issues of electronic journals on culture, the humanities, and the social sciences. This resource encompasses more than 700 periodicals, totaling over 3 million articles (15 million pages). The license covers collections 1 through 6.

The site offers more than 705 electronic periodicals that appear with Sage Publications. They cover a wide range of subjects.

The Times Digital Archive is an unrivaled opportunity to explore the content of one of the most popular and most frequently cited daily newspapers - online and in the respective context of the original edition. Thanks to the full-text search and classification of each article, each issue can be searched through by keywords in the title or article text, author and subject categories. Afterwards, the article can be viewed completely and quickly on the screen as a full text or the whole page on which a requested article appears. In addition, it is possible to watch a certain issue of the newspaper from a particular day and "leaf through" it.
