Noam Gidron is a guest researcher at the WZB from April to July 2014, affiliated with the Inequality and Social Policy unit. Noam is a graduate student at the Department of Government, Harvard University, where he is also affiliated with the Multidisciplinary Program in Inequality & Social Policy at the Kennedy School. His research interests include welfare state politics and partisan realignment in post-industrial democracies. During his visit at the WZB he will work on his PhD thesis, which investigates the strategic dilemmas of center-right parties and how they have evolved over time. Noam studied politics, philosophy, and economics and received his BA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, in 2009. He received his MA from Harvard University in 2012.
