Online Labour Markets: The Digital Organisation of Care Work

The dissertation explores the new field of location-based internet
platforms for domestic and care services in Germany. After mapping the
field with respect to the relevant labour market actors, their motivations
and workers' working conditions, I ask whether labour market mechanisms
found in the traditional care market are also at play in the online
sorting processes.
