Expectations and Markets
The workshop focuses on the crucial role of expectations for behavior in
markets. Expectations are very difficult to measure in real world settings, but laboratory experiments allow for their elicitation and in
particular for the analysis of the relationship between expectations and
choices. The topics of the workshop are expectations in financial
markets, the role of expectations in auction bidding, belief formation
in social networks, biased expectations and market entry as well as the
impact of expectations on ethical choices in markets.
