Matching in Practice

Market design is one of the most successful areas of economics in terms of research leading to practical improvements. The workshop deals with current problems of market design in the realm of school choice and university admission. Topics are for example the effect of school choice on ethnic segregation in Germany as well as the manipulability of admission systems.
