Changing Societies – New Frameworks for Modern Societies

Final Conference of the Franco-German Program

The WZB and the Fondation Maison des sciences de l'homme (FMSH) invite to the final conference of the Franco-German research program “Changing Societies” on April 10, 2018. Since 2016 the program has strengthened the interdisciplinary exchange between French and German researchers in humanities and social science by organizing workshops and conferences and promoting visiting research fellowships in both countries. The final conference offers the opportunity to assess the outputs and insights brought by the program within the last years, as well as to frame these in actual key debates in social sciences. Among others following topics will be addressed: Challenges in work and family life, economic regulation discourses, social change and well-being.
