Ann-Kathrin Koster
Short bio
Ann-Kathrin Koster is a political scientist. She studied Political Science, Sociology and Intercultural Gender Studies at the University of Trier and Georgetown University, Washington D.C.
From 2020 to 2022, she was a doctoral fellow at the Schaufler Lab at the TU Dresden. In her dissertation, she focuses on the procedures and effects of artificial intelligence from a democratic theory perspective. Her main research interests lie in the field of democratic theory with a particular interest in the relationship between democracy and technology. In addition to her academic work, she is part of netzforma* e. V. - an association for feminist net politics. She has been a team member of the research group “Technology, Power and Domination” since September 2022.
