Dr. Greta Frederike Groß

Greta Groß is a Research Fellow at the Center for Civil Society Research as part of the MOTRA research consortium.

Her research focuses on political communication, affective polarization, depolarization, and democratic resilience. Within the MOTRA research consortium, she also studies protest, including media narratives about protest and public perceptions of protest legitimacy.

In September 2025, she completed her PhD at the Hertie School. Prior to her doctoral studies, she studied Psychology.
