Hanna Kleider is a doctoral student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a visiting researcher at the department from August 2012 until March 2013, and again from June to December, 2013. Her research focuses on comparative political economy, with a particular interest in social policy, federalism and fiscal decentralization. During her research stay at the WZB, she will conduct desk research and fieldwork for her Ph.D. thesis, which analyzes within country variation in social service provision in 16 OECD countries over the last 30 years.
