Prof. Jeffrey T. Checkel

Jeffrey T. Checkel, Professor of International Studies and Simons Chair in International Law and Human Security at the Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, was visiting WZB research unit Global Governance from March through April 2014. Among his research interests is “Socialization and Organized Political Violence: From Interstate to Civil War and Beyond”. During his stay, he collaborated for the “Contested World Orders” project funded by the Leibniz Association.
