Dr. Julia Metz was a research fellow with the Junior Research Group ‘Position Formation in the EU Commission’ at the WZB from September 2011 until August 2013. She later was a guest researcher at the unit Global Governance until 2015. She received her Doctorate in Political Science at Free University of Berlin in April 2012 with her dissertation titled ‘The European Commission’s Expert Groups and their Use in Policy Making‘.
