Lisa Maaßen has been working as an assistant to the director of the research unit Global Governance as well as to the research groups Global Humanitarian Medicine and Governance for Global Health at WZB since July 2019.

Previously, she studied North American Studies at Humboldt University of Berlin (M.A.) and German and English Literary and Cultural Studies at University of Bonn and Charles University in Prague (B.A.).
