Louis W. Pauly is Professor of Political Science at the University of Toronto, where he holds the Canada Research Chair in Globalization and Governance. From September to December 2013, and again from March to June 2014, he was the Karl Deutsch Guest Professor at the WZB in the Global Governance Research Unit. His current research project, “Governing Global Risks”, continues a long-standing collaboration with Prof. Dr. Edgar Grande. The project explores new preventive governance instruments and innovations in regional and global arrangements for compensation and adaptation.
