Maria Weickardt Soares supports the Global Humanitarian Medicine group as a student assistant. After a two-year stay abroad in Brazil, she is currently doing her master in political science at the Freie Universität Berlin. Maria has previously worked at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society in the research group Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
