Prof. Rachel Brulé Ph.D.
Rachel Brulé is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at New York University Abu Dhabi. She will be a visiting researcher in the Institutions and Political Inequality unit from early June to early August 2018. Her work centers on the political economy of development, gender equality, and the role of legal institutions in altering social conventions, particularly in India. She is currently completing her book manuscript, Women's Representation and Resistance: Positive and Perverse Consequences of Indian Laws for Gender Equality, for publication with Cambridge University Press.
