Sebastian E. Wenz is a researcher on the BMBF-project "Discrimination in Education: Micro Mechanisms and Macro Determinants" and PhD Candidate at the University of Bamberg. In his dissertation he uses data from experimental, cross sectional, and longitudinal designs to study discrimination in German schools. From 2009 to 2012 he worked at the German National Educational Panel Study (NEPS). He studied Social Sciences at the University of Mannheim and at Indiana University Bloomington (2003 – 2009). His research and teaching focuses on the sociology of education, discrimination, and quantitative methods and methodology.
