Prof. Siddharth Mallavarapu

Siddharth Mallavarapu is at the WZB until early July 2019 as a Visiting Research Professor at the Global Governance unit here. He is Professor and Head, Department of International Relations and Governance Studies at the Shiv Nadar University, India. His most recent publication is a co-edited anthology (with Kanti Bajpai as first editor) on India´s International and Strategic Thought. Volume 1 which is fresh from the oven is titled, India, the West and International Order. Four more volumes are expected to follow. He is also the author of Banning the Bomb: The Politics of Norm Creation which was on the ICJ Advisory Opinion rendered in 1996 on the legality of the threat or use of nuclear weapons.
