Stephen Watts was a guest of the research unit Transnational Conflicts and International Institutions in April 2005. As a Ph.D. Candidate from Cornell University and research fellow from the Brookings Institution, Mr. Watts' research brought him to Germany where he conducted interviews to gain insight into the German perspective on interventions in weak and failed states. He currently works as a political scientist with the RAND Corporations and an adjunct assistant professor at the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service.
