Demography and Inequality

The connection between demographic development and social inequality will be studied at the WZB in a new project group directed by Anette Fasang, Junior Professor for Demography at the Humboldt University of Berlin. Prior to this, the sociologist was a post-doctorate fellow at Yale and Columbia Universities. She is currently studying the connection between retirement patterns and income inequality, job mobility- and satisfaction, as well as the course of careers in a global economy.
