Yochai Benkler: "Practical Anarchism: Peer Mutualism, Market Power, and the Fallible State"

This event is part of the colloquium series “Rethinking Law in a Global Context”, which this summer semester focuses on “Private Ordering and Public Authority”, sponsored by the WZB Rule of Law Center and convened by Prof. Dr. Mattias Kumm (WZB and New York University) in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Ingolf Pernice (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin).

Yochai Benkler is the Berkman Professor of Entrepreneurial Legal Studies at Harvard, and faculty co-director of the Berkman Center for Internet and Society. Since the 1990s he has played a part in characterizing the role of information commons and decentralized collaboration to innovation, information production, and freedom in the networked economy and society.
