Workshop

Recent research has highlighted a unique dimension of agency problems faced by the public sector: since unethical and corrupt behavior have a distortionary effect on social output, behavioral considerations such as a predisposition for ethical behavior and public sector motivation are important when explaining why agents are more, or less, likely to engage in activities labeled as corrupt or unethical.
