A.SK Social Science Award Ceremony 2025
The A.SK Social Science Award is one of the most prestigious distinctions in the social sciences. Its 2025 recipient is Pinelopi Koujianou Goldberg, William Nordhaus Professor of Economics and Global Affairs at Yale University. She receives the award for her research on global trade interdependence and its impact on socioeconomic inequality. What does the future hold for the global economy? Are we at the dawn of an era of deglobalization? How should international cooperation be organized? How can we fight poverty? Pursuing questions like these, Pinelopi Koujianou Goldberg has become a chronicler and a meticulous analyst of the era of globalization.
